Prof. R. K. Trivedi

Prof. R. K. Trivedi is a distinguished academician and retired Professor from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, with decades of experience in higher education, research, and academic leadership. His research domains include Ore Geology, Hydrogeology, Petrology, Geochemistry, Groundwater Assessment, and Environmental Geology, with particular emphasis on sustainable water resource management and geological investigations. Throughout his academic career, he has guided numerous postgraduate students along with many doctoral and post-doctoral research scholars.
He has authored several research papers published in reputed national and international journals and has served as a Session Chair at many national and international conferences, contributing actively to scholarly discourse and knowledge dissemination.

He has also served as Chairman and Member of various Technical Committees and has been part of national-level selection and interview panels, including the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), reflecting his recognized expertise and academic stature at the national level. In addition, he has held various key academic and administrative positions in the university system, contributing significantly to policy formulation, academic planning, and institutional development. He served as the Founding Vice-Chancellor of Gyanveer University from 2023 to December 2025, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the university’s academic framework, governance policies, and quality assurance systems. Under his visionary leadership, the university developed a strong foundation centered on academic excellence, research innovation, and institutional integrity. He is currently serving as a Member of the Governing Body of Gyanveer University, continuing to provide strategic guidance, policy direction, and mentorship to strengthen the university’s long-term growth and academic mission
